The Film
Through photographs, record books, and interviews with former players, colleagues, and family members, the film tells the unique, compelling story of how Coach Carrasco dedicated his life to opening doors for young people who had been marginalized from America’s promises. By confronting racism with leadership and resolve, he brought about historical change in D.C. basketball and later helped shape the education for students in poverty.
